Lights, Camera, Action!

Gines (our cameraman) arrived to a ship of 12 eager trainees lined up on the side of the ship awaiting their cue to enter the water. Their shrieks of delight, echoed around Tutukaka Marina. At 0700 hours we raised the anchor and started our 2 hour journey towards Poor Knights Islands.

Seyerus and Cruz made an amazing homemade bread in the shape of an anchor; this went perfectly with our breakfast to prepare us for the day. On arrival, most of our trainees went for a glorious dive and explored a cave, while Drew and Tamara remained behind to prepare a scrumptious pizza lunch.

Before lunch was served, Emma and Samantha from Huanui won the Knots Challenge, followed closely in second place by Drew and Quinn from Taipa. We are now settled down in Tutukaka again for the night where we dropped our cameraman back off onto land. Gines has caught some amazing footage of the day which we all look forward to seeing!
