Greetings from the goodship to thy land lubbers, today we awoke in the beautiful Mimiwhangata with a cool light breeze and not a cloud in sight…So it was straight into the tide for our refreshing mineral spa, once showered, chores and breakfast completed and a quick lesson on the importance of nutrition we passage planned a 3 hour trip back up too Te Toroa bay where we planned to spend the night…It seems this fine day wasn’t so fine, the wind picked up and showers where developing however we weighed anchor, battened down the hatches and set sails northward bound….

Tawhirimatea graced us with his presence the whole way, stopping in Whangamumu sheltered from his fury so we could rest a little and to have a bite to eat before heading back out to find a nice spot to fish and to go for a dive.. Sadly there were no legal Snapper about only leather jackets and bait stealers we are now anchored up in Te Toroa bay for the night our trainees are still buzzing over our trip back up from Mimiwhangata as it was a glorious sail… we are all warm and chirpy……
