The sun sets on our final day on board the R. Tucker Thompson.
After a 3 and bit hour passage from Whangamumu to Moturoa, the crew have all gone ashore for a last shore excursion to check out the army bunkers and a general leg stretch.
Friendships have been made, and mixed feelings about coming home tomorrow are felt throughout the ship.
Many laughs have been shared and heard this whole week and a strong team bond has been formed.
Tonight we dine on a delicious pork roast, and a last “highs and lows” of the week will be had around the salon table.
We were spoiled with a sleep in this morning, to gear us up for a busy morning of cleaning and stowing before reaching our final destination in Opua at 2pm! See you all then!IMG_0746
