Good evening all!
We have come to the end of our final day on voyage 1414. Another full on morning was had. Traveling from Oke Bay to Waewaetorea – all the trainees got fully geared up in their wetsuits and ventured through Waewaetorea Cave! This was enjoyed by all; however the water temp was not so favourable according to some.
We had a nice cruisey afternoon, with the last of our lessons, a walk and games on the beach at Homestead Bay on Moturua and a very competitive game of Scattergories – which Rob, Te A and Jake managed to take out! Well done.
Papahia, Matt and Hine at any spare opportunity putting those fishing lines in the water at attempts to catch us a feed before we return home. We are particularly impressed at Connie and her enthusiastic approach to cooking! Amazing baking. With the help of Hine, they have made two wicked puddings – chocolate self-saucing pud and apple and peach crumble. Yum! As well as just always being there with a positive attitude to lend a hand with any meal. Thanks for helping the Crew girls!
All in all, we are so impressed with every single one of these talented, hilarious, open-minded, free young trainees. The leadership shown, the friendliness and pleasant faces we spent the week with will be missed.

See ya’ll tomorrow!
