This morning we had a dawn service to commemorate ANZAC day. Tim recited the ode, while Declan and Quentin lay the wreaths that we all made last night, followed by a moment of silence.
As the wreaths were being made last night, we spoke a little about those who fought for our country and the importance of remembering them.
With morning chores and breakfast out of the way, we are completing our task books then headed ashore for a much needed run around. Talks of a game of soccer and Frisbee are top topics for the moment!
As we sit around the saloon table, there have been mixed feelings about going home tomorrow. Some can’t wait, yet will be sorry to see the end, others want to keep going as they are really enjoying themselves. But, all good things must come to an end, so today we’ll make the most of it!!
