Kia ora whanau, what a lovely day we arose to this morning, not a breath of wind or a cloud to be seen… As usual we were up with the early birds splashing about at 0700 weighing anchor early to complete our journey back into the bay having breaky and doing our daily chores along the way… Upon arrival back into the bay we made haste to Kylie’s secret spot to hunt scallops with all trainees participating in gathering….

A quick lunch then we weighed anchor and set sail for the next scallop patch gathering a plentiful bounty for all to enjoy, a hot shower was thoroughly enjoyed..!!! Then off to Otahi bay for some beach games with Kaya winning the tight rope challenge and a good game of touch with starboard taking victory, before returning to the ship we scaled the peaks of Urupukapuka to finest view point of the bay..

We are now anchored in Paroa bay just having finished our long awaited Pork Roast dinner, the ship is lively with laughter a good day it has been.. Looking forward to reuniting apopo……
