Kia ora from the Goodship R Tucker Thompson, gently at anchor in Oke Bay, on the outside of Rawhiti. Once we had left Opua and introduced ourselves it was time to collect our misssing link, Wayne, from Long Beach and lunch was served. Leaving the bay we hoisted sail and cruised past the inside of the islands, splitting up into watches for the week, becoming familiar with the ship, safety equipment and practical issues of toilet, rubbish and waste. After discussion of the man overboard process we put the training into action and successsfully recovered “Wilson”.
Anchoring in Oke bay Jason, Bradley, Seth, Rob, Erana and Saphire were soon swimming!!!! Then we launched Little Tuck and Rosie and Erana swept around the bay. Nate is busy on dinner and all are catching up with stories of life and laughter.
