Become a Mate of the Tucker
Mates of the Tucker is a way you can support our Youth Development Voyages. By becoming a Mate your contribution will go directly to the cost of a place. You can either join our supporter scheme by completing the form or make a donation online.

We offer the trips to families at a subsidised rate of $840 per family, but the full cost to us is $1,680 per youngster. We make up the difference between any surplus from our tourism activities and donations received through Mates of the Tucker.
Whether you wish to make a small cash donation or commit to a more long-term engagement with the ship, your contribution will be welcome. All donations will be receipted and go to our Mates of the Tucker account, which funds sail training voyages.
This can be done annually, by a monthly automatic payment or via Payroll Giving through your employer where the donation is deducted from your pay and a tax credit applied at the time. Click here for Payroll Giving information for the R Tucker Thompson.
