Kia ora whanau awoke in the beautiful paradise to a slight northerlie breeze and the ever so sweat waiata of the manu gracing our ears as we entered the crystal clear mineral spa…

The usual daily chores breakfast and dishes completed, then some lessons on bio-securities, nutrition and fishing regulations once comprehended by the trainees we packed our lunch and went ashore to stretch our legs around the whole island, stopping for lunch in the pristine Urupukapuka bay.

Once our tummies had settled was time for chocolate fish to get us up to the trig and back down to paradise bay with all trainee’s gracing the water once again too cool down then back to the ship to dry off… Weighing anchor headed up to Te Akeake point for a snorkel Matthew, Tim and Ants swimming in search of te wheke nui o te ao but sadly to no avail but seen a lot of descent snapper, we are now anchored in Awawaroa bay for the remainder of the night about to have meat balls for dinner trainee’s bonding well and the ship is full of laughter.
