Kiaora from the Tucker!
Today was business as usual on board the good ship. 0700 wake up, swim, brekky and chores done, we went ashore for a walk along Urupukapuka Island. Everyone had a go on the mega swing set we found on a tree and after a look at the pa and the tourists of Otehei Bay, we had a 30 minute silence sitting in the long grass. Back on the ship, we had a lunch of pasta to fill the hungry bellies.
Cody, Kahi and Matt completed their Tucker challenge, well done guys! Meanwhile Grace, Mikaira, Nestor and Ishmael had some adventures in the rowing boat, Lil Tuc, learning about the benefits of good teamwork. Anchor and sails hoisted, we headed off for a sail over to Motuarohia Island.
Ashore at Motuarohia, went for a walk up the hill while Matt, Cody, Ishrael and Lorenz had lessons in driving the dingy.
Anchor up and we went in search of a good night anchorage in preparation for the bad weather. Now we are anchored up safely in Orokawa Bay, about to tuck in to a glorious pork roast, a good treat for the last night.
Goodnight and see you tomorrow at 1400 sharp!
