YTH 1805 – Ono ra

Ahoj from The Good Ship R.Tucker Thompson. Yes we are still here, well anchored in Te Hue with not a lot to report. The day started with howling winds across a dry deck so we skipped the swim and got straight into duties. Everyone was happy with that. Then class work while the soup brewed, it was a long brew so class went for most of morning, with knowledge quiz to finish it all with.

Lunch then some free time as trainees swapped contacts and did some serious baking using up the last of the bananas, a cake for afternoon tea and leftovers for dessert. A word finder game, are you my cousin game, cards and laughter filled in the day. Now, the big  last night roast is almost served, the Tucker gets a roll on every now and then as the four metre swell creeps around the corner. We are looking forward to tomorrow, rounding Tapeka and heading up the channel to Opua Cruising Club and all your warm friendly whanau smiles.
