Ahoj friends and family of the Tucker.

Today everyone dusted out the cobwebs with a cold morning wake up swim, Faye being the first in the water! After the swim, we had morning chores to do- scrubbing the deck, cleaning the head and polishing the brass.

After breakfast we went straight into classes, line handling, learning how to use a harness to climb aloft and safety at sea. Then we hoisted the anchor and everyone set the sails putting their new line handling skills to the test. Sails up, we headed off into the bay over to Ipipiri to look for a sheltered spot to play spot light tonight. We have a navigation lesson planned and some more classes for this afternoon, as well as cake for afternoon tea!

No reception in our night anchorage so we’ll keep it short and sweet today.
