Kia Ora,
What a day! A blue sky was waiting for us this morning with a few terns fishing around. Our scenery was stunning; Waitepipi Bay is just surrounded by cliffs.

Our routine went on: Jump (Tumanako still the first) with the following shower, duties and baked beans on toast for Breakfast. Then, we packed our bags, picked some fruits, filled up water bottles, and safety jackets on, we went on the dinghy. Our mission was to climb up the stiff “Dukes Nose ” (Kairara). It was slippery, full of steps, and rocky but all our trainees reached the top. At the top, they screamed all together, an Happy Birthday to Wayne, one of our magic crew! After a few pictures, we came down and went for a cruise up the river. Midday was on his way, and a delicious smell guide us to the ship.

Pumpkin soup and fresh baked cheese scones were waiting for us. The afternoon was busy: a Banana cake was made by Aaliyah and Krisharn, some swimming and climbing time, a paddle on the little Tuck and another go at fishing (Taniela got his first one). They also became lumber jacks, collecting and chopping wood for our evening marshmallow fire party. Around the barbecue, there was guitar music, smiles and laughs. The Snapper and Kawhai caught previously were smoked and eaten with bread and butter. The horn of the R.Tucker Thompson called us, so it was time for us to go home for our dinner.

Ps: Also from everybody : We hope our crew mate Tane will get better soon and hopefully will re-join us.
