Sailing with us on the R. Tucker Thompson under the COVID 19 Protection Framework

We are looking forward to having you sail with us this summer. The good news is we are able to sail under all settings in the new Covid 19 Protection Framework (traffic light system). We do however have some special requirements to keep our you, our crew and all passengers safe.

On boarding we will ask you to scan or sign in for contact tracing and all passengers will be required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof can be provided in the form of the New Zealand Government’s My Vaccine Pass, and can be presented digitally or as a hardcopy. This applies to all passengers aged 12 years and 3 months or older and will be checked when you board the ship.

We have COVID-19 hygiene protocols in place and hand sanitiser and masks will be available. We require masks to be worn as boarding and below; masks can be removed on deck.

Social distancing will be unusual on our ship but we ask that you keep 1 meter from other guests that are not in your party.

To reassure you all of our staff are fully vaccinated and we have strict hygiene protocols in place. The ship gets a deep clean each day, hand washing and sanitiser protocols will be actioned.

We have contactless payment for drinks, souvenirs and donations.

We appreciate your assistance with these new measures.
