Kia ora whanau from the good ship to thy land lubbers today started off as all others do, with the famous refreshing mineral spa and 1 lap around the ship today being particularly warmer than the others, Daniel not being able to abort the mission cost Kaitaia College valuable points, with Lydia and Jordon stealing the win for Dargaville. Daily chores, breakfast, dishes completed did our daily log then straight into Li’l Tuc races with Cole and Daniel claiming the victory then Hamish and Vincent getting 2nd for Taipa then Amber and Jamie coming 3rd for Kerikeri high School.
Once the rowing challenge was completed it was time to enjoy a hot chocolate and a apple cinnamon McMuffin courtesy of Janna. Wet suits on time to dive at White Reef in Deep Water Cove observing King fish, Snapper, Jack Mackerel, Angel fish just to name a few while feeding Rass and Leather Jackets out of our hands was an awesome experience for our trainees.
A quick lunch then off to Albert Channel to try and catch tomorrow night’s supper, with no luck, we are now heading to Parekura Bay for the night and will try our hand there. All trainees are having sooo much fun they do not want to come home…….
