The ship departed Paroa Bay this morning and sailed over to the stunning Black Rocks for some fishing. They got plenty of mussels and fish and youngsters were all involved in collecting kai moana for a feed, a great treat and a bonus of being out on the water. Captain ‘uncle’ Steve caught the biggest snapper, but Kieran caught a big john dory for the table. Yum!
Another sail for the afternoon and then an overnight anchorage will be at Palm Beach at Moturua, where they are anchored up now. It’s calm, sunny and a lovely spot and everyone is having a great time – not even a grumble with the morning swim.
