Ahoy friends and family, from the R. Tucker Thompson. The last day has gone so quickly! We started the day with a sleep in and even skipped the morning swim- the cold Southwesterlies made the water look very unappealing. Chores done and breakfast had, we headed off to Urupukapuka Bay for some time ashore. Bat down was played again by Boston, Caitlin, Zayden, Cole and Kali. Hayley, Emmanuel and Jonothan came for a walk with Wayne and Eloise and discovered an awesome swing set in a tree. Back on the beach, we had our 30 minute silence in the trees.
Arriving back on the ship we were greeted by an amazing lunch cooked by Cap Tim- soup, scones and crayfish mornay!
Full bellies, we motored over to the back side of Motuarohia for some snorkelling, rock climbing and rowing. Catalina headed out for a snorkel with Magnus and Wayne, while Boston, Zaydyn and Tangaroa went for an explore up and around the rocks. Emmanuel and Cole went for quite a mission on Lil Tuck, brought back to the ship by Tim in the dinghy. Caitlin, Kali, Jonothan and Hayley meanwhile went for a swim in the icy water.
Now we are anchored up at Opunga Cove with a delicious pork roast cooking in the oven. Last night aboard the ship and lots of laughter can be heard from the saloon.
Goodnight everyone and see you tomorrow at 1400
