YTH-2103 Rua Ra

Kia Ora friends and family.

Today began with the usual morning swim in the beautiful Oke bay. We then hauled anchor and got moving, anticipating a long day ahead at sea. We set the sails, demolished the duties and had some breakfast underway.

Cape Brett was our first stop, where mid tuck was launched to explore the hole in the rock. We saw lots of fishies and learnt some cool local history. We then headed south with the wind on our tail, off toward Whangaruru. We had a lovely sail, did some learning, ate some muffins and caught zero fish. On arrival to our harbour, we launched both mid and lil tuck. Missions and mayhem followed, with the smiles wide and the spirits high. We now are sitting down to a much earned dinner, anchored up in the Whangaruru harbour.

A delightful day and looking forward to the next one.
