The weather brought its best for the first day of voyage 2502! After a welcome on board and some quick games at the wharf, we took off setting sails as we cruised on past Russel, as we rounded Tapeka point a delicious Mac n cheese was served for lunch. The first stop of the trip was at the historic Mangahawea where learnt about the area and had a chance to explore on shore, after a conversation about what we wanted to achieve this week we headed back for a swim off the ship making the most of the amazing weather, currently learning how to operate the lines whilst dinner is being made and we make the journey to paradise bay for tonight’s anchorage. Everyone is excited and looking forward to the plans for tomorrow, until then!
