Kia Ora from the good ship R Tucker Thompson
We all woke up in good spirits ready for our day. After the typical morning routine, we weighed anchor and went for a peaceful sail until Brooke threw the rugby ball at Niah and it wasn’t caught, causing a surprise man overboard drill! The trainees did a fantastic job at dousing the sails in a hurry with good communication.
We then motored into Waiiti Bay and went for a walk around the whole of Moturua island. After the walk, the wind built enough for us to have an exciting sail at 7.5knts out into the Bay and back into Motuarohia where we anchored for the night.
Since tonight is also Halloween, night the crew organized a surprise trick or treat fashion show competition, where the trainees had to dress up with the limited resources we have on board and make the best costume. The decision was hard, but at the end it was revealed that Niah won the competition.
Goodnight all
