Kia ora friend and whanau of the good ship.
Another beautiful day in paradise. Just a minute after you open your eyes at the morning, you just step on deck and bring yourself around a mixture of sun and mist, up to the Cavallies. This is how we define paradise. Morning swim was slightly warmer than yesterday which made everyone even happier. This morning we all went ashore in one of the Cavallies island to play some beach games and walk around the island. Ella and Olivia really enjoyed cleaning up the beach to save our environment .Back to the ship to enjoy some carbonnara pasta that Ness cooked for lunch. In fact, no one could leave their seat with the amount of food digested. A good sign for the chef.
A Five hour sail was coming up ahead of us to get back to our playground, the magic Bay of islands. So straight after lunch, we squared up the deck and got underway. Coby was behind the helm most of the time and he will make a great chief navigator in his future career. Pretty much all sail were set, and we cruised gently southward. It was cute and beautiful to see all the trainees warming up themselves under sleeping bags on deck while the good ship was underway.
Horatio Jimmy and Lilly perfectly furled the top sail once we had reached our night anchorage; Awaawaora Bay in Motorua Island.
Amazing lifetime friendships has been created during this unforgettable journey full of adventure and, it is coming soon to an end with our full last day tomorrow.
Po marie.
