Today has been an absolute epic day. After a lovely night sheltered in the other side of the bay, anchored is pulled up straight after breaky. And we covered some long miles all the way up until… Whangaroa Harbour. We did have a pause thought by dropping our anchor at the Cavallies for a lunch break and a snorkeling diving session.
Those young pirates know pretty much how to sail the ship and operate the anchor winch. All by themselves already! In fact, this is a very outstanding point as it is only day two. Leadership skills are flourishing.
It will be a shame if id came just to mention some names of who is doing great and who is involving themselves the most because they literally all do. Without exception.
Few activities and lessons took place underway as, navigation, knot making and principle of sailing. But riding the bowsprit, climbing up the mast or simply baking brownies were also part of the good fun and the sixteen of us on board are extremely happy and grateful.
Place for some warm time now with a rewarding dinner and a great night in paradise.
