We have officially finished maintenance period, what better way to celebrate than to go out on our first sail of the season with a Shakedown sail.
The Good Ship is looking spik and span, and has passed all its’ safety and annual maintenance checks. We checked the new rigging, flew a new flying jib, did a man overboard drill and had a BBQ lunch together to celebrate the end of this maintenance period. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the mighty project.
The weather was perfect, a sea breeze came up in the afternoon and everyone got on the helm. It was nice to enter Level 2 with a sail – roll on summer! We have four more Youth Voyages this year then our official summer season starts at the end of November.
We will be running daily Day Sails from 10 – 3.30pm and Sundowner Sails on Wed, Fri and Sun from 4 – 5.45pm.
