YTH 2204 – Ono Ra

We’ve had a lovely day of sailing, preparing our team of trainees to take charge of the ship for the passage back to Opua tomorrow, and if the stars align it’ll be smooth sailing! Speaking of stars we were lucky enough to experience a night sail from Deep water Cove to paradise bay last night, which was amazing watching little blue penguins in the water and the ship surrounded by bioluminescence. We’re anchored up at the Te Pahi islands and spent a lovely afternoon exploring Turtle Island after embarking on a journey from last nights anchorage at Paradise Bay. Tonight after a lovely roast dinner we plan on heading into the beach to roast some marshmallows on a fire

Po Marie, we’ll see you all tomorrow!
