Kia ora whanau,
We have arrived safe in Whangaruru harbor! Today marked the start of the Maori new year, and also began our venture out of the Bay and southbound. We disembarked the ship in the morning and walked along the Cape Brett track, we coordinated with the crew to get picked up from Ohuhutea Bay. When we arrived we were greeted by a sunbathing seal and the incredible Abbey who gathered us in the dinghy and took us back to the Tucker for our journey down the coast
