YTH 2210 – Ono Ra

Kia ora whanau, was delightful to bump into some of you on the beach today!

A wonderful final day indeed. We woke up in the beautiful Tutukaka to all sorts of interesting boats cruising past, ready to enjoy a stunning Sunday on the water. We had pancakes this morning, following which we channeled our inner pirate and went on a treasure hunt. The team then stole the ship from us and took command down to Urquhart’s bay. It was epic. We had full sail up and were boosting along at 7 knots at times and all the boats in the vicinity were altering course to come and admire us. On arrival we went on a hikoi to the beach to find some crystals, play some guitar and see the views (and the cows). We also met a baby seal called rocky.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow at 1,

Po Marie, Voyage 2210 signing out.
