YTH 2302- Rā Tuaono- Day Six

This morning was the start of our last full day on Tucker and we started the day with Captain Terry’s French toast and some lovely pancakes. We left Urupukapuka Island and motored around to Waewaetorea and the Taniwha cave. They’re held on together and swam through for a snorkel and jumps on the other side. Once back to the ship, we set sail for Motuarohia Island where we had some soup for lunch and made our way up to a beautiful lookout, which gave us a 360 degree view of the bay of islands. After spending time there learning about the history of the bay, thinking about our own horizons near and far, and having some creative down time, we set a bunch of sails and sailed our way to Te Pahi Islands. This is our anchorage for the night where we are going to play spotlight on the beach and maybe find some treasure after a big roast dinner.

See you tomorrow!
