Good evening friends, family and loved ones! Welcome back to our regular viewers and welcome if this is your first time tuning in.
We set out today from waves good bye at Ōpua and had a great sail down the river, making good speed under just foresail and inner jib. Along the way, bags were unpacked, names and hobbies were learned and pasta lunch was enjoyed. Then we rounded Tāpeka Point and into the high seas!
What an introduction to the voyaging life! Everyone got a bit wet and on an angle but we survived it and are now happily anchored at Opunga Cove. We’ve been ashore, had a run around, untied the human knot and had a good quiet time thinking about what we want to get out of our trip.
