Today we sailed from Pareanui Bay to Moturua Island so we could meet up with Project Island Song in Mangahawea Bay. After a great hike we learnt about conservation and even helped pull weeds out of the ground (and trees!). With many words of wisdom from our Project Island Song Guide, Shane, we hiked back over the hill to the Tucker for lunch.
After lunch, we had a sunny swim off the ship, had a knot challenge with Adam and then got introduced to our new sail stations. We upped anchor and sailed our way past a bunch of islands towards the dramatic landscape of the Southern end of the Bay. Now at our anchorage in the beautiful Oke Bay, we are ready for some Kai and stargazing tonight and excited for another adventurous day tomorrow.
