YTH2305 – Tuawhā – Day Four

Aloha mai for the late post tonight whānau, we have had a massive day of many amazing activities! We are currently sailing at a cruise 2.7 knots under the moonlit sky. The peace of moving under sail is serene and the whetū are stunning. We’ve just had a delicious boil up under these conditions which is fuelling us for the last few miles to Paradise Bay where we’ll be anchoring tonight. We left Deep Water Cove at around 1800, after an action filled day there. This afternoon we all took turns completing the Tucker Challenge, blasting around in the dinghy and learning to sail the recently revived ‘Lil Tuc’. This morning we explored the taonga of the cove, seeing a reef filled with fish life and a big archway lush with colour and mystery.

The brisk breeze has us all cozied into our blankets on deck enjoying the subtle sounds of the ocean
