YTH2305- Tuarima Rā – Day Five

Kia Ora whānau today was definitely an adventure! As you can see in the photo we’re all looking pretty dreary, but we still trucked on and happy. We still had a great time riding the bowsprit it felt like a never ending roller coaster. We learnt heaps about navigation and the cardinal markers which will be useful for when we take over the ship tomorrow, the crew will be no use to us anymore and we plan on taping them to the masts. We sailed back to Paradise Bay and settled our stomachs with a yummy pumpkin soup made up of last nights boil up. Fuelled up and ready to go we landed at Urupukapuka Island where we made some sandcastles. Next we attempted to play a game of hide and seek around the whole island. We’re now back on the ship eagerly waiting for chef Tom’s delicious dinner.
