Hello Everyone,
What a fun filled day of adventures we have had today. This morning we had the privilege of Tri Oceans coming out to visit us. We learnt about the different trophic levels of species in the ocean and then went for a snorkel to do a survey of the species we could see on the reef around Mangahawea. Feeling full in our minds it was time to fill our pukus with a tasty sausage sizzle lunch. After lunch we received a clue saying that we needed to Get ready for an amazing race. Our afternoon then included a series of clues that took us over Waewaetoria island, build a raft, get across the channel between Waewaetoria and Urupukapuka and then over into Entico Bay. It had been a big day but we aren’t done yet, after a little bit of down time we are just getting ready to munch on some chicken for dinner before heading off to Moturua Island in search of some kiwi.
