What a busy first day! After we said goodbye to our Whanau and departed Ōpua wharf we set sail heading out into the bay. We motor sailed with 4 of our sails set playing name games until we got to Tapeka point where we enjoyed our first meal together while on the rolly seas.
After lunch we tacked and headed into Motuarohia Island where we will stay at anchor for the night. Here we went to shore going up to the look out so we could visualise and plan out ideas for the week. Now we are back out at the ship testing out the rope swing, impatiently waiting for our nacho dinner, Yum!
