7am and we all got into the refreshing water, afterwards we soaked in all the warm water before getting changed and starting the day, doing our part in looking after the ship and in return the crew cooked an amazing breakfast to help us fuel our bodies for the rest of the day. We all found our stations and learnt more knowledge of this stunning ship, from how the anchor operated to how the biggest sails worked, everyone learnt something new.
We set sail from Te Puna and traveled across the never ending sea, navigating through challenging waters and finding our way to the beautiful Te Hue Bay, otherwise known as assassination cove. The bay was calm, a perfect opportunity to do the R. Tucker Challenge! We got into our groups, one doing the rigging test and another learning how to drive the dinghy and work little Tucker. We all accomplished amazing things, discovered and pushed through our limits and fears. We ended the afternoon with a swim, using the mega swing and enjoying the crystal clear waters.
While enjoying our banger and mash dinner, we are going through the election process for takeover day tomorrow. Let’s see what it brings. Until then.
