This morning began with the usual routine: swim in the tide, morning duties and breakfast. We departed from our anchorage old school, that is, sailing off of our anchor. The top sails were set and we were on our way making haste for Turtle Island. A pizza lunch was enjoyed by all and graciously prepared by Chynna.
After Turtle Island we arrived at Marsden Cross where we went for a historical walk to learn of the earliest missionaries to settle here in Aotearoa.
Big ups to Caitlyn for achieving the Tucker Challenge after a week of struggling. The trainees also were given a role to fulfil such as Captain, First Mate, Navigator, etc. It was their chance to put in practice what they’ve been learning all week.
Our ladt night together. See you in Opua tomorrow at 1pm!
