Greetings from the good ship to thy land lubbers….
This morning the girls woke early, very early, and were keenly on deck awaiting the skipper for their morning swim. Most jumped in with no prompting. Chores were finished in double quick time and after breakfast Nate and Gery went hunting for the mop overboard, alas to no avail, whilst lessons for the morning were done. We motored to Urupukapuka Island had burgers for lunch then went for a beautiful island walk, and visited the pa to pull some wattle trees to help with the conservation of the island, and hopefully return the pa to its former glory. Back on the boat we headed to Army Bay and had races on little Tuck around the boat. The race was neck & neck with bay of islands college showing some good form. we are anchored in Waiwhapuku for the night the ship is vibrant with laughter..
With regard to the Taitokerau challenge only 2.5 points separate 1st and last place – it’s going to be close whanau….
