Ahoy from the good ship the R Tucker Thompson
Today was a beautiful day full of blue sky and sunshine.
After duties and a special breakfast of French toast we weighed anchor and started motoring towards Waewaetorea Island, along the way we even managed to complete our “man overboard” drill.
We arrived at the island and geared up to head ashore and go through the Taniwha Cave. As we went through, we exited out into a little cove where we went snorkeling and jumping off rocks.
Back on board the ship again, we had some lunch and set sail for Roberton island, we set every sail today! We arrived into Roberton and headed ashore again to explore the island and climb some rocks.
We’re back on board the ship again, and are about to have dinner. We’ll then have an evening sail into Kororareka.
