Kia Ora from the R Tucker Thompson
This blog was written with Connor and Braden
For the first activity of the day, we split into our port and starboard watches for a navigation lesson and had some unexpected grey finned visitors hang out with us for the morning. When the dolphins left we headed onto Urupukapuka Island for a big walk around the island until we got to Otehei Bay to have our picnic lunch, swim off the wharf and feed the fish that hung around. Back on the ship we sailed off the anchor and navigated our way around Motuarohia Island then into Orokawa bay for the night, where we all skillfully sailed onto anchor. Tayla, Astin, Nicky and Sydney completed the Tucker Challenge while some went rowing in little tuc and others went swimming. Connor, Phoenix and Braden dove on our rudder to untangle fishing line that got caught. We’re now all ready and waiting for one of Chynna’s special lasagnas for dinner. Forecast is another blow tonight so we’re tucked up cozy tonight.
Goodnight all,
Po Marie
