YTH-2107 Rua Ra

Kia Ora from the R Tucker Thompson.

Another lovely day in paradise. The winds were light and the spirits high today. We jumped in for our first morning swim at the beautiful Moturoa island. After breakfast and duties, we headed over to Rangihoua. Underway, we successfully rescued Wilson the soccer ball in a man overboard drill. We also did some climbing aloft. Wehi, Tiana, Jess, Mikara and Leah competed their tucker challenge. Go team. Once we arrived, the crew went ashore to do a beach clean and history walk. After a few hrs ashore, it was back to the ship for Mac and cheese. After lunch we set off on a big adventure to the other side. We did some sail handling lessons and then set the sails, which ended up being decorative as there was no wind. Ah well. It was a pleasant cruise across the bay to Roberton, where we dropped anchor for the night. We just demolished a lovely chicken dinner, the guitar is in use and we are looking forward to tomorrow. A great team and a great day.
