YTH 2204 – Tahi Ra

We embarked on a journey into the Bay with the wind billowing in our sails. It was a thrilling start to the voyage with some rolling swell, decent wind, and a delicious lunch. We made it to the nice calm anchorage of Pareanui Bay. We ventured into shore and the sun came out for some great games, introductions and some peaceful exploration. After getting back on the ship for the night some of the boys went fishing and caught some small fish and threw them back, obviously practicing for later on in the week when we get to a better fishing spot. Outside rain is coming on and off but we are all dry and warm and, if dinner tastes as good as it smells, we are in for a treat. Not a bad day, catch you guys tomorrow!
