Tena koutou ๐
Today was a doozy. Not too many dry towels or dry items of clothing are left on this ship! From last night’s anchorage at Awaawaroa, we visited the Queen’s seat and then had an epic sail back to Russell in the thick of the weather. We had two reefs in the main and hot chocolate served on a sloping deck!
Upon arrival, we were treated to the comfort of hot chips for lunch, a trip to Russell Radio and then the museum where we learned a lot and it was dry. A bit smelly for town, we retreated back to the ship, did bombs off the wharf and are now settled in a bit further up the river for the night.
Not long until we see you all again!
