YTH-2311 Rā Tuarua-Day Two

What an incredible day two! After our early morning swim and ship duties, chef Tom cooked us a beautiful breakfast to fuel us for the day ahead. We jumped into our sail stations and set our sails, learnt to climb up the rigging and when we got back down on deck it was time drop our sails and get ready for a snorkel at Deep Water Cove. Under water we were surrounded by amazing marine life and some of us even saw a Moray Eeel! Back at the ship our skipper Marcel had made us an epic soup lunch, we ate this yummy Kai, shared what we saw under the water and before we knew it we were on a hike from Deep Water Cove all the way to Cape Brett lighthouse. The walk was beautiful and as the sun was going down the Tucker was there to pick us up. We did it old school and rowed the dinghy back to the ship! Now we are on our way to Oke Bay under the clear sky with all the stars about to eat dinner and chat about our exciting day! Until tomorrow,

Us
