Today was the start of our adventure. We played games on the wharf then waved goodbye to our whanau, set sails and headed down the river. We played name games on deck while waiting for our delicious mac n cheese from chef Rachel. We soon arrived in the beautiful bay of Motuarohia for the night. The lite rain makes for a pleasant evening in the bay. We became familiar with line handling and was also given a ship orientation. Chef Andre is on the tools and making hearty nachos for dinner. We are now playing games and making friendships with everyone onboard. We can’t wait for our dinner and the rest of the night to unfold. Until tomorrow. Ma te wa!
