YTH 2414 – Rā Tuatoru – Day 3

Another calm bay greeted us for our dip this morning. We even saw the sunrise kiss the mountains in the distance. We quickly got into our chores, scrubbing decks and polishing brass. The Captain had the pleasure of making our breakfast, eggs and beans on toast. Fully feed and ready to go it was now time to head out for a sail. We headed out to Deep Water Cove for a dive, we saw a friendly dolphin and many snapper there. Back to the ship for lunch, fried rice on the BBQ, a welcoming meal after a dive. The day was getting away on us so we decided to leave our sheltered bay, heading for Motukokako (Hole in the Rock). We managed to see a shy seal who ran away on the rocks. It was a beauty sail down to Whangamumu where we will anchor up for the night. It’s bangers and mash for dinner, tonight we plan to head ashore for a few games of spot light. Today was a wonderful day, we look forward to tomorrow. Until then.
