YTH 2414 – Rā Tuawhā – Day 4

Good morning everyone! Time to get up! On with our togs and in the water we jumped. It’s becoming easier everyday. It was pancake breakfast this morning, so fluffy and tasty. We had our big day ahead of us, the Tucker Challenge, tender driving and sailing Little Tuck. We cheered and encouraged each other along. What an epic morning. A sausage sizzle was up for lunch, a well earned feed. We left our sheltered bay and headed south. The sailing was amazing. We got to a top speed of 10.6kts under sail as we ripped down the coast towards Whangaruru. Once we settled down a boil up was waiting for us. We’re now waiting for our chocolate chip cookies to bake. We’re waiting for the sun to set so we can go play spotlight and look for shells. What a full on day. Bring on tomorrow!
