”Wakey wakey, time to get up! Togs on and into the water. The warmth of the sun kissed our cheeks as our squinting eyes met the morning breeze. We were straight into our chores and breakfast soon after. We lifted anchor and headed towards Army Bay, Moturua where we met Project Island Song, today we learnt about invasive weeds such as the Mexican Devil Weed and helped them remove a whole lot of it. We left them some home baked cookies and headed back to the ship for a well earned swim and lunch. It was time to tick a few things off our activities list, snorkelling and kina. The water was crystal clear and plentiful with kina.
We’re sailing to Rangihoua eating a delicious bangers and mash sunset dinner. Tonight we look forward to our night activity, ship hide n seek. You’d be surprised at all the funny hiding spots aboard. Tomorrow there’ll be more adventures to be had. Until then. Mā te wā
