YTH 2501 – Rā Tuatoru – Day 3

It was another wake up call for us to jump in the sea. It was a little colder than yesterday but still very nice. After our swim we were straight into our cleaning and breakfast. Today we had Project Island Song gift us with their knowledge about our native species, our pest free Islands and how to track weta punga. We saw so many native birds, even the Ruru.
After downtime on the beach we headed back to the ship for lunch. Fried rice! We were getting itchy feet and wanted to sail so we weighed anchor and headed East toward Oke Bay where we will anchor tonight. Once there were looking to have dinner and have a night of ships games. Another full on day. We will sleep well tonight. Until tomorrow!
