Today we set sail from the wharf and farewelled our beloved whanau for the week. Straight away we hoisted the sails and learnt about how to manage the ropes. After a quick tour of the ship we got into our harnesses and learnt how to climb the rigging. We all went as high as we could go, and the view from the top was incredible, we could see to our anchorage at Urupukapuka Bay all the way to Rāwhiti! Soon after dropping anchor we went ashore to play some games but we were pretty keen to head back and have a swim around the ship. Now our bellies are full of good kai and a mean dessert
