Kia Ora Whānau,
Today has been an adventurous day of sailing, beach games, Tucker olympics, climbing and laughter. After a big hearty breakfast, we booted the crew to the side, nominated our sailing positions and took over the good ship! Leaving Paradise Bay there was lots of wind, which made for a super fun sail and lots of manoeuvres to test our skills and make our way into Te Hue Bay.
After a yummy healthy lunch, we drove the tender to the beach and played a bunch of games (from tug o war to Marco Polo to trust games) and followed it up with some rākau stretching to loosen our muscles and joints. Following this, we spent some time reflecting on our voyage so far and as the rain came in it almost made it magical. Once we made it back to the ship, we started the Tucker Olympics where we (still in the middle or our olympics) got into our sail station teams and competed in Eggs Can Zipline, ImprompTu Speaking and Fear Factor Taste Testers. Currently, we have just finished eating our delicious last night roast that our amazing chef Zhané cooked for us. Gotta go! The Tucker Olympics continue…
See you tomorrow!
