YTH2307 – Ra Tuarima – Day five

Kia Ora Whanau,

We started our day super bright and early at 5:30am to head you to the top of the Dukes Nose lookout. It was another thick misty fog morning but we took the risk that the walk would be worth it and worth it it was. As we arrived at the lookout the sun was just starting to peak up over the top of the fog, and as the sun rose the fog settled; making for a truely amazing view. Back to the ship for second breakfast and to stow the deck for our big passage back into the Bay of Islands. 36 nautical miles later with a mid passage swim and we are safely anchored off Moturua Island in Army Bay.

The Ship is buzzing and we can’t wait for our last full day tomorrow.
